The UK has some of the world's finest craftsmen who dedicate their lives to recreating period and contemporary furniture, glassware, china, silverware, ceramics, as well as dolls, pets lighting and appliances. They all come together at the London Dollshouse Festivals to show and take orders for their newest designs. Visitors from the US, Australia, Canada, the Middle East, Japan and Europe come to find inspiration and any missing pieces for their latest project in the fascinating world of miniatures
Young and old can discover the designs of over 100 top craftsmen from around the world, most of which are available to purchase on the day (prices from 40p for a loaf of bread to £10,000 for a fitted dollshouse). Internationally renowned exhibitors will include:
Lucy Askew, miniaturist, whose work has appeared at the Victoria & Albert Museum Jens Torp Designs, gold and silversmith, as featured in the Financial Times Anglia Dolls Houses, as seen on ‘Sunday Brunch’
Carol Cook, Specialist in Miniature Modern Food, as seen on The One Show.
