An introduction to the joy that is Paper Engineering. In this class Helen Friel, will share her expertise and teach you how to design a paper taxidermy fish and then frame your catch of the day. You will design your own fish, and customise the frame to your own specifications. Your mounted fish will then be ready to take home and hang on the wall.

Helen Friel can cut, fold and construct anything- as long as it from paper. Helen has constructed carts for Ryan Air, Lobsters for Ted Baker and Aquariums for Vanity Fair. She was a graduate from Saint Martin's school of art, where she specialised in illustration, and explored the delights of the pop-up book. Her largest commission has been a 12 foot windmill. Apparently Helen now spends a lot of time talking to herself and waving her arms around- 'I am always trying to visualise how something will fold or move'.
