STREET KEIRIN and Alley cat

Another in the unmissable series of street events that is the FullCity Street Keirin and Alley Cat.

If you have never been to an Alley Cat..be prepared for a cat fight, as London's saviest cyclists and couriers fight it out to be the first past the post.

So, how does in work?

The courier 'cats' line up their bikes strategically on the floor in the street along Leather Lane, and then move back a set distance from the bikes to the start line.

When the starter gives the signal, everyone tears down the street to find their bikes and head for the first checkpoint. The cyclist with the fastest legs, best knowlege of London, and bravest, no fear attitude wins!

Its not for the faint hearted, but if you think you can beat the couriers, or just want to watch, come along.
