An evening with the sound of “Mario Romano Quartieri Jazz” at “ The Roof Gardens Club – Tudor Marquee” in London.

This kind of music is born from the old neapolitan districts. It combines the team spirit of Central Europe, the rhythm of South America, the colors of Africa and also the romantic and bit sad France. Rhythms such as: bossanova, rumba and musette waltz.

The band is composed by: Mario Romano (manouche guitar), Ciro Imperato (bass), Gianluca Capurro (classical guitar), Emiliano Barrella (percussion), Luigi Esposito (wind melodic).

They’ll present some new songs by their last album: ‘E strade ca’portano a mare ("Roads leading to the sea").

in these songs you could listen to all the suggestions of a magical city, able to get into the heart.

The event is part of “Saturday Sessions”, the live music nights that include both new and established talent, performing exclusive sets every Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm in the picturesque marquee situated in the Tudor garden.

THE ARTISTIC CAREER AND THE PROJECT

It’s very important the participation at n numerous jazz festivals, such as "Teano Jazz Festival", “Pozzuoli Jazz Festival", "Teggiano Jazz Festival" "Bagnoli Jazz Festival", " Prata Jazz Festival ", " Vittoria in Jazz" and some others.

In this music journey the manouche guitar of Mario Romano is validly supported by Gianluca Capurro with the classical guitar, Luigi Esposito with melodic wind, Ciro Imperato on bass and Emiliano Barrella on percussion, talents that, like Mario Romano, come from "popular neighborhoods" of Naples.
