Polyphony

POLYPHONY is a multi-disciplinary group exhibition showcasing seven emerging artists’ most recent works. Held at Dockland's most exciting arts quarter in collaboration with Urban Space Management, it is the debut show in this newly renovated gallery space.

“Polyphony (noun) : Simultaneously combining a number of parts, each forming an individual melody and harmonising with each other.”

POLYPHONY seeks to explore the relationship between the physical and momentary. The works respond to varied perceptions of the everyday, of experience and the remnants of the live moment. The artists have been brought together by a shared essence, which runs through their diverse practices. With an interest in collaboration across disciplines, the works explore sculpture, video installation, live performance, ceramics and fashion.
