Femme Fierce, the largest all-female street art event in the UK is dedicated to unearthing and highlighting the best of the burgeoning female artists on the street art scene. Coinciding with International Women’s Week, Femme Fierce is a celebration of women that create art in studios, lurk in dark alleyways, scale roof tops, enter abandoned buildings and add colour to the grey concrete walls that make up our cityscape for the love of the covert and oft-maligned world of street art and graffiti.

Spanning across 7 days, London based Femme Fierce, kick starts the series of events with a private invitation only preview on Wednesday 5th March and The official opening night party on Friday March 7th. consisting of the largest street art group show of its kind. Introducing a series of new works by the both British and UK based international female street artists and graffiti writers from Amara Por Dios, Ashes57, BoxHead, Artista, Zina, Stephanie Thieu and Girls on Top and curated by The Street Art Agency and Earth Tone Arts at Cre8 Gallery. http://on.fb.me/1fHwgQL

Saturday 8th March, International Women's day, will see the Femme Fierce group showcase artists joined by over 100 International female graffiti writers, and street artists from across the globe to set a Guinness World Record for "Largest Spray Paint Mural by multiple artists" for Femme Fierce: The All Female Leake Street Take Over of the infamous Leake street tunnel (affectionately known as the Banksy tunnel) For your chance to be part of this legendary event, sign up here for £2.50: bit.ly/1ig8bDb . The world premiere of street art documentary ‘Women on Walls’ will be hosted at Cre8 Gallery on Sunday 9th March followed by a Q+A with the director and some of the participants, ‘Women on walls is a 25 minute documentary on women street artists by Danish filmmaker Cathryn Cort Koppel exploring the issues, dangers and marginalisation that the women street artists face and how they overcome the hurdles they face.

Street Art & Business is 3 hour workshop is designed to empower the street artist who has creativity in abundance but lacks the business know how to create a sustainable income through their art. This one stop workshop will be delivered by Jenni Lewin-Turner, creative arts consultant for Urban Flo. This takes place Wednesday 12th March, 6pm - 9pm at the Cre8 Gallery

Friday 14th March sees the group exhibition artists creating a live, group mural as part of the closing party for Femme Fierce at Cre8 Gallery 6pm-10pm. Free event.
