The Singer Songwriter Night is an evening of original song and instrumental material of various genre of music, from folk, pop, blues, rock to jazz performed by a number of musicians:

Catrin Vincent - singer songwriter on vocals, piano and guitar. Catrin composed film music for Sophie Boyle's 'Mache Man' which was sung by Cleo Demetriou and she was also a regional finalist for the Next Brit Thing competition. Her album "World Escape" is available on website "catrinvincent.bandcamp.com. Check it out and then see her live at the Chapel!

Tom Blackburn - singer songwriter on vocals and guitar. Originally from Brecon in Wales - his original songs are strongly influenced by his traditional folk song roots. He is also a fine guitarist. Currently studying philosophy at UCL, Tom hosts the UCLU Folk Music Show.

Max Logsdail - singer songwriter on vocals and guitar. Max's voice has been likened to Jeff Buckley in range and tone. A former Leeds student,where he was involved in student radio, Max now works in London and produces a music blog ' Max's Mad Mix'.

D'Casio - singer songwriter on piano with a voice which has been likened to Nina Simone. D'Casio contemporary pop style is a new fusion of soul, jazz and RnB that will delight listeners seeking ballads, written and arranged by herself.

Nick Hamlyn - singer/songwriter and blues and rock musician ( and owner of Pied Piper Records trading in collectors and other records) on guitar and vocals, with a voice that has been compared to the iconic Nick Drake, guitar, accompanied by Cathy
Hamlyn on piano ( and occasional guitar)

Cathy Hamlyn - singer songwriter, accompanying herself on piano with Nick Hamlyn on guitar, with original songs, influenced by the great female singer songwriters from the contemporary folk scene as Joni Mitchell and Carole King and also from her love
of jazz.

There will also be a short open mic element to the evening for any singer/songwriters who come on the night with original songs ( own compositions only please and first come first served ! Please make yourself known at the ticket desk where there will be
a sign up sheet). Guitar, piano and PA will be available.
