Come to the sumptuous and intimate surroundings of Leighton House Museum, former home of the Orientalist and Pre-Raphaelite painter and sculptor Lord Frederic Leighton to attend a violin recital by the famous violinist Cihat Askin accompanied by Can Okan on the piano. There will be a drinks reception during the interval.

This is a great opportunity to visit this wonderful museum filled with exquisite paintings and sculptures in addition to the period furniture and Middle Eastern tiles of breathtaking beauty. Those who wish to visit the museum should arrive at 6.30pm as the concert will start at 7pm.

There will be NO ticket sales on the door. Latecomers might have to wait for a suitable break for admission.

Programme to include Brahms' Scherzo in C minor WoO 2, Brahms' Sonata in D minor No.3, Op.108, Mozart's Sonata in B flat, K.378, Wieniawski's Legende Op.17, Callisto Guatelli's Pascha March d’Ottoman and Cihat Aşkın's Turkish Miniatures.
