Its the UKs hottest hobby and the nations fastest growing gardening event! The Edible Garden Show is putting down new roots in London in March, bringing the show to a bumper new crop of visitors. Bigger and better than ever before, the three-day event is a fertile mix of celebrity speakers, interactive advice sessions, cookery demonstrations, innovative products and a fabulous range of exhibitors selling everything you need for a slice of the good life. Perfectly timed for the beginning of the growing season, the show is buzzing with tips on keeping bees, raising chickens, brewing beer, saving energy, mouth-watering baking and dishing up delicious meals using home-grown ingredients. Its a must-see show for anyone interested in self-sufficiency and packed with masses of trendy and chic ideas for conjuring yummy, healthy food from plot to plate. TV presenter James Wong continues his campaign to persuade the nation to plant exotic edibles that can survive the British climate and other celebrities giving daily talks include Christine Walkden, gardening guru on the BBC One Show, trendy forager and wild food expert Mark Lloyd and author Naomi Schillinger who has written a best-selling book with tips on growing your own in small spaces. Poultry vet Victoria Roberts will be back with her fabulous talks on keeping healthy, happy hens and TV and radio presenter Pippa Greenwood will be giving tips on successful home growing. Popular TV chef Phil Vickery will be cooking up a storm on Saturday March 29. School children will also be getting a taste of the Good Life when Blue Peters Chris Collins joins the celebrity line-up at this years Show. He will be giving a series of talks and demonstrations and he is one of the judges in the shows My Dream Edible Garden competition, being run in partnership with the charity School Food Matters.
