Dance performance

The Downtown Dance Conservatory - Celebrating its 10th anniversary season in 2014! Planted in the heart of historic downtown Gadsden, Alabama, offers quality classical and contemporary dance education from primary to pre-professional level. With an enrollment of more than 300 dedicated students training on a weekly basis the Conservatory’s influence also spans throughout the surrounding community.

Artistic director Linze Rickles McRae holds the certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies of the Royal Academy 0f Dance, graduating in London, England. Linze currently serves as an executive board member of the Alabama Dance Council’s board of directors, the operating organization of the Alabama Dance Festival.

The Downtown Dance Conservatory are travelling to London and Paris in March 2014.
