Garden Suburb Theatre presents A Chorus of Disapproval by Alan Ayckbourn.

The Pendon Amateur Light Operatic Society has taken on The Beggar’s Opera - and The Beggar’s Opera is winning. The director can’t seem to get further than page one. His cast are divided by sexual jealousies and by a local piece of land which may, or may not, be worth a fortune. And some of his actors don’t know their bass from their oboe.

“I wish they were professionals” says the director. “Then I could sack them.”

This production is part of the Barnet and District Drama Festival 2014.
