PLAYGROUND is a collaboration of six emerging artists of drawing discipline from Camberwell College of Arts. They are presenting their most recent work in this unique group exhibition, which intends to break up the somewhat formal aspect of traditional gallery shows.
PLAYGROUND aims to address a wider audience, instead of being limited to an elite of intellectuals and connoisseurs. This is an attempt to create a playful environment, giving space for interaction and interpretation.
The opportunity for dialogue with local communities within Hotel Elephantʼs atypical gallery space underlines their statement that art should collaborate with non profit organizations and support cultural enrichment.
