Family Album - Pop-up Photo Studio In Tottenham

Calling all Tottenham families! This Saturday (May 10th)! Have your photo taken for a unique Arts Council England-funded project at Bernie Grant Arts Centre.

In celebration of International Day of Families, on Saturday May 10th (between 12-3pm) a group of aspiring young photographers will be encouraging Tottenham residents to drop in on their bespoke pop-up studio for a free family portrait.

Based at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, the initiative, called “Family Album”, is being overseen by acclaimed photographer Agenda who has led the young people in a series of intensive workshops at St Ann’s Library focussed on the technical and creative aspects of his craft.


After picking up these new skills, their aim is to capture the diversity and spirit of Tottenham around a common theme of “mutual belonging” - creating the ultimate snapshot of family life in N15.

All portraits taken at the pop-up will be uploaded to a special “Family Album” website (http://family.visualmarvelry.com/) as well as forming a temporary exhibition at the Arts Centre. The young participants in the project will all gain a Bronze Arts Award for their work - a qualification widely recognised by both creative businesses and colleges of further education.
