Tom Evetts Exhibition - Terra Firma

Following his sell-out show at The Osborne Studio Gallery in 2013, Tom Evetts, 24, will be holding "Terra Firma", an exhibition of over 50 paintings from 27th May – 1st June 2014.

Terra Firma is “all about land and sea”, Tom explained as he described his recent forays to Durness and the Isle of Lewis in the far North of Scotland, the Pembrokeshire coast, Cornwall, including Lamorna, and painting trips to Ireland. “But the show doesn’t just focus on the far flung corners”, he went on, “it also includes gypsy scenes from Seamer Horse Fair and images of London, Exmoor and Newmarket; favourite haunts of mine", Tom said. “Painting vivid pictures of much loved places allows me to show how light affects colour as it develops during the day and throughout the year.”
