Parent Info Event: 'Is Your Child Starting Year 3 in September?'

In September 2014, Wandsworth Prep will enter an exciting phase of continued expansion as we open the doors to our first Year 3 Class. Children experience a number of transitions during their educational career and as a school we recognise the importance of ensuring a smooth transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, both socially and academically. We will be hosting an information evening for any interested parents within our local community whose children are currently in Year 2 either in the maintained or independent sectors.

The information evening will provide parents with an opportunity to:

- Learn how WPS will support the transition into Key Stage 2 at Year 3
- Learn how WPS will prepare pupils for 11+ and future schools
- Meet our Year 3 teacher
- See the Year 3 classroom and examples of what our curriculum looks like in practice
