The Show Must Go On, a musical compilation of family and industry favourites from Hollywood to Broadway to the West End is coming to the Winston Churchill Theatre in Ruislip from Wednesday 21st – Saturday 24th May 2014.

Founded in 1937, award winning amateur company WOS Productions (Wembley Operatic Society) has been thoroughly delighting North West London and surrounding county audiences for over 75 years with their now bi-annual celebration of musical theatre. This spring, The Show Must Go On will take audiences on a journey of melodic and dance discovery while spanning the decades of musical theatre shows, old and new.

Talking about the upcoming production, show Producer Debbie Day said, “You’ll be clapping along to the rhythmical big chorus production numbers, romanced by music and movement made memorable by Fred and Ginger, reaching for the tissues with harmoniously emotive Blood Brothers and Miss Saigon musical ballads and wiping away tears brought on by the hilarity of featured songs from Avenue Q and Spamalot.

Neil Pennock, the show’s Musical Director and fundraising manager of WOS Productions continued, “With a full orchestra, scenery, lighting and costumes, the show’s ensemble of much loved musical hits will truly be a spectacle not to be missed – an emotionally captivating night out for all the family.”

With a cast aged eight-to-80, WOS Productions embraces an eclectic and energetic mix of amateur entertainers from all walks of life with the universal objective of delivering an extraordinary singing, dancing and acting experience for all.
