Ben Oakley Gallery is Proud to present an exciting new artist to its roster, ‘RUGMAN’. Hailing from Glasgow originally, he has been carving out a reputation fine tuning his illustration and Street art presence in London now for over 10 years. Creating his own very distinctive style as he carefully blends the two skills together. There are obvious life influences in RUGMANs work from Skate Punk, Tattoo & Pop Art Culture all condensed into each exquisite painting.

This latest show is presented as his finest most sophisticated and complex works to date. A positive and conscious move up in to a gallery that seems made for this show. A series of figures with their identities white washed/erased then re interrupted reflecting on their ICONIC status using tattoos as symbols to realize their relevance.
