Family Cushion Concert

Bring a cushion and take your seat as a musician with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields orchestra in this special concert for the whole family at Cecil Sharp House. Led by Jason Rowland, you will hear and be part of a performance of extraordinary music including Romanian folk music from Bartok and other orchestral masterpieces from across Europe.

Ever looked down the bell of a trumpet? Played a duet with a flute? Or felt the rumble of the cellos whilst sat in the string section?

The concert is recommended for families with children aged 7-11 years. Audience members will be sat on the floor during the performance; bringing a cushion is recommended for your comfort.
