Cathay Pacific will be bringing China closer to the UK when it unveils its ‘Revealing China’ exhibition at the Southbank Centre between Saturday 7 June and Wednesday 11 June.

Free to attend, visitors can enjoy a taste of China by sampling a range of fun, authentic Chinese cultural activities. Cathay Pacific will also be giving visitors the chance to find out more about some of the lesser-known destinations that the airline flies to.

In addition, visitors will also be able to enjoy a unique photographic exhibition which captures the British public’s take on what China means to them. Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite image using tokens during the event.

Carmen Tse, Marketing Communications and e-Commerce Manager at Cathay Pacific, said: “Cathay Pacific’s ‘Revealing China’ exhibition seeks to inspire people to find out more about this fascinating country and send them on a sensory journey to help them imagine what it can offer visitors. We are delighted to be bringing China closer to the UK through this event. Working with the Southbank Centre, along with partners Wendy Wu, we hope that visitors will really enjoy the exhibition, and that their curiosity to travel to China is ignited as a result.

“As an airline, we have an unrivalled network into mainland China through our sister airline DragonAir, offering routes to 22 destinations, and are therefore well placed to tell people more about the exciting array of cities.”

Cathay Pacific flies five times daily from London Heathrow and from 8 December 2014 will fly four times weekly from Manchester Airport to 22 destinations in China via Hong Kong including Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu, Chongging, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Guilin, Haikou, Hangzhou, Kunming, Nanjing, Ningbo, Qingdoa, Sanya, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Xiamen, Zhengzhou, Dalian and Tianjin.
