ArtTop10.com is delighted to present Print Jam 2014, a group exhibition with 25 contemporary artists all working in the print medium. The artists were chosen from an open submission entry and were selected by three judges: The contemporary artist James Jessop exhibited by Saatchi; Jason Hicklin, the artist & head of printmaking at The City & Guilds of London Art School and Robert Dunt the artist & founder of ArtTop10.com.

The broad range of work reflects the many different ways that contemporary artists are interacting with printing today and demonstrates a wide variety of traditional and contemporary print making techniques including etching, screen printing, woodcut, hallograph, inkjet prints, giclee prints, silkscreen, wood engraving, linoprint, emboss & collagraph.

There are many surprises to inspire the print connoisseur: from the religious; expressed as contemporary islamic art...to the technical; placing objects on to a negative and interacting with the image by painting with light... to the conceptual; the use of X-rays to express an ArtTop10.com Press Release May 2014 ‘Lookout’ - Colour silkscreen print, Eliza Southwood imagined body called Hope... to the geographical; landscape inspired by ancient and contemporary cartography. As part of Print jam 2014 an event called ‘Questions and Artists’ will take place on the Friday evening, in which some of the artists will be discussing their work and techniques to showcase the diversity of print making today. Despite including International and well- known artists, the level will be welcoming for all visitors.
ArtTop10.com was founded by the artist Robert Dunt in 2011 with the ambition to review all the art exhibitions in London. Something like 250 exhibitions take place every month but only a handful of these are reviewed. The ambition is that by reviewing exhibitions, the art world can be opened up and anybody and everybody who loves art will have a place where they can say what they feel about art without any criticism for their views. In line with this ethos work by the judges will be on the show alongside the twenty selected artists.
