The Magic Flute - Featuring Katherine Bicknell

Flautist Katherine Bicknell beguiles and entices in this exotic programme. Enter the Arcadian world of Pan, the faun-like God who brings the Spring and seduces nymphs, meet Syrinx who tries to escape from his clutches, and also dance to the Sailor's Hornpipe performed on the piccolo (baby of the flute family!). Katherine, whose playing has been acclaimed across Europe and Asia, shows us that Mozart was right - the flute is very magical indeed!
