The Inner Temple Garden is one of London’s oldest gardens and is full of colour, flowers, trees, myths and history. See it all, the draw your favourite plants, scene or story on long paper scrolls.

Whether you are 8 or 80, a doodler or a wanna-be Dali, there’ll be room for all ages and talents, with experts on hand if guidance is needed, tours by the Head Gardener to give an in-depth understanding of the Garden’s design, and snippets from the past to inspire the imagination. And there will be plenty of quiet corners for those who prefer to use their own sketch-pads to capture the beauty of this timeless place.

Visitors to the garden will also be able to experience two exhibitions. 'Heartsease' an immersive art exhibition by London-based contemporary artist Emma L Coates is inspired by colours and shapes of the garden and will be on display in the potting shed. 'Angles of Incidence', a collaborative art installation by Singapore artist-architect Randy Chan and British artist Philippa Lawrence. These two artists were brought together through the Artist-in-Residence Exchange Programme (AiRx). There will be two artists' talks, 1.30pm and 2.30pm, giving you the opportunity to meet the artists and learn how they came to create their inspired installation.

Bring your own picnic, some artistic flair and make an afternoon of it at the Inner Temple Gardens on Sunday June 1st.
