Spike Lee's 'Do The Right Thing' 25th Anniversary Celebration

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the classic Spike Lee film, Thenublk and We Are Parable have joined forces to present an event that will take you back to Bed-Stuy on the hottest day of the year in 1989!

The screening, taking place on the 21st June at 1.15pm at the Rio in Dalston, will be accompanied with an exclusive block party that will recreate the iconic block where the film’s action takes place, complete with dancers, pizza and chalk murals.

With DJs from Amplifed providing old school beats from 4pm in Shoreditch’s Shutterbug, we’ll be celebrating the film until the early hours.

Prizes will be given to the best dressed individual who captures the spirit of ‘Do The Right Thing’ as well as an exclusive dance off to the iconic “Fight The Power” by Public Enemy.
