Mileece presents 'The Lost Birdsong of London'

The work of LA-based experience designer & sonic artist, Mileece ‘promoting ecology through technology and the arts’ has brought her international critical acclaim as a composer and installation artist. 'The Lost Birdsong of London' explores these themes within a more intimate exhibited setting than previous shows.

Worldwide, the burgeoning of urbanisation has dramatically affected the diversity of native wildlife species and their populations. In London, as elsewhere, evidence of this phenomenon can be heard in its soundscape, as acoustic niches transform with the disappearance of its biodiversity.

As participants near the old tree’s stump, the voices of London’s absent tree dwelling animals are awakened, and it’s enchanting native soundscape, brought back to life.
