Become a guinea pig in the University of Surrey's sleep lab to find out if you're an owl or a lark, and how to use that knowledge to function better, then explore City University's installation on the multisensory internet, which imagines digitally flavoured lollipops and smell-emitting phones. These are among the interactive exhibits at this week-long event showcasing the latest research being crried out in UK universities.
A late opening on Wednesday June 11 features the chance to witness a volcanic eruption reproduced and see the jet and rocket-powered Bloodhound racing car which is set to break the World Land Speed Record of 1,000 mph, alongside less adrenaline-heavy sideshows like stand-up comedy and live performances.
