Anna Redwood - Voices from the Desert

AN EXHIBITION OF ART & SCULPTURE TO COMMEMORATE BRITISH TROOPS RETURNING FROM AFGHANISTAN

Having spent time in Afghanistan with British troops on active service, Anna Redwood, a War Artist has produced this one-woman retrospective exhibition of art works and sculptural pieces depicting the thoughts and messages from the serving soldiers she lived and worked amongst at Camp Bastion and Helmand Province.

'Voices from the Desert' will feature a 12ft high heavy-metal RAT sculpture - designed and constructed by Anna from scrapped vehicles found in the desert. The British Army have transported this Regimental mascot all the way back from Camp Bastion and it will be on display at the Exhibition before it goes off to a permanent home with the 7th Armoured Brigade - The Desert Rats.
