Future Shorts Summer Season Screening at Fairground

The best programme of short films, selected by Future Shorts, will be screened on Saturday evening, 14th June, at Fairground - a cultural emporium of food, music and opinions.

Fairground is a showcase of individuals and collectives from across the creative communities and beyond, encompassing the established and emerging faces of authentic London and global culture. A 10 week pop up spanning three floors of a disused office block in the heart of East London is coming to its last weekend so you have the very last chance to explore it!

Future Shorts - the sister company of Secret Cinema, is recognized as the first and largest global pop-up film festival, which represents the diverse nature of its audience. The international stories selected for Future Shorts summer season programme have been acknowledged by Sundance Film Festival, Berlinale Film Festival, French Film Industry Awards, Bafta Films Awards, Hong Kong International Film Festival and other renowned international film organisations.

Fairground will be full of food, music & workshops all day, with a very special Island Records takeover so everyone is welcome to come and get involved before the screening, which starts at 7pm. World Cup 2014 screening and djs after Future Shorts, so make sure you save up enough energy for dancing until 3am!
