Regata Di San Ranieri at Mr. Fogg's

Following on from Phileas’ recent tour of Tuscany, he has decided that in support of his pals from Pisa, whom will soon be competing in the annual San Ranieri Regata, that he will be throwing a little celebration for all those unable to attend, just across the pond, at his Mayfair abode, on Wednesday 18th June.

The bellissimo residence of Bruton lane will welcome friends and family from further afield, with a selection of thirst quenching Campari cocktails and aperitivo style canapés, constituting of all of the finest flavours of the region. The evening will sail by to a soundtrack of toe twitching delights from Colomboloco, Pisa’s most magnificent musical duo.

In the spirit of this Italian themed festa, for one night only, the entire household team at Mr Fogg’s will be leaving their Saville Row attire at home, in favour of a rather different type of ‘row’ dress, and ‘regata’ style robes. Guests too are encouraged to join the fun and turn up with a touch of Tuscany about their person.

Mr Fogg's is a recreation of the Victorian home of Jules Verne's most famous adventurer, Phileas Fogg. Modelled on the very Mayfair house in which Phileas would have lived after travelling Around the World in 80 Days, the bar is refined but at the same time truly off-the-wall, breathing liveliness and fun into the area. It is the first West End project from Inception Group, whose founders Charlie Gilkes and Duncan Stirling have also created Chelsea speakeasy Barts, 80's themed nightclub, Maggie's, the acclaimed Bunga Bunga, an Englishman's Italian, Bar, Pizzeria and Karaoke venue, and most recently Disco, an underground boite in Soho based on the disco movement that took place in 1970s Manhattan. This spring they have just launched Cocobananas, a nightclub based on a Brazilian beach party and will be launching Beaver Lodge, a mountain bar and dance saloon based on the winter cowboy log cabins found in Wyoming, this summer.
