Join the award-winning Maverick Theatre Company to explore places frequented by many of the great 19th and 20th century writers, including Dickens, Brendan Behan, Dylan Thomas, Anthony Burgess, George Orwell and Virginia Woolf, plus a few earlier names such as Samuel Johnson and William Blake. See where Dylan Thomas met his wife and encounter other incidents that inspired great works.
This critically acclaimed tour also follows in the footsteps of more modern artists and writers. Readings along the way will give you a unique insight into an area that changed the world creatively.
The show lasts around two hours and finishes at the family-owned Newman Arms, George Orwell’s favourite, when everyone has eaten and drunk their fill - includes a pie and a pint!
