When four young friends stumble upon an ancient map they begin ‘A Really Big Adventure’, they fight against prejudice in a race to a forgotten sword and discover the true meaning of friendship; showing at the Brady Arts & Community Centre, 192-196 Street, London E1 5HU from 26 –29 April 2007 at 7.30pm, tickets are £9.00 and can be booked through www.ticketweb.co.uk, for concessions and group bookings please contact the Filim Company on 020 7655 0996.

The racial hate between rival gang members spills over to four young wannabe adventurers on a treasure hunt for an ancient mystical sword stolen hundreds of years ago from India. Produced by The Filim Company and Tower Hamlets Community Safety Services this is an adventure with a mix of comedy and drama to tell a tale that has a strong message about Hate Crimes.

The stage and film hybrid tackles the issue of prejudice within our community and the importance of identifying the root of hate crimes and how to overcome it. Each character brings their own perspective of these issues for all sides from Sazu ‘The Machine of Destruction’, Crowe ‘The Architect of Hate’, Kevin the Smooth Operator and Angelica ‘Miss Adventure Spice’.

Tackling hate crime is not their only barrier to success, the young adventurers have to also contend with not falling foul of the booby traps and dangerous puzzles along their way to retrieving an ancient artifact of great power.

Kayser A. Foyz, Director, said: “After the success of The Wedding Run, we decided to push the bar further and take on the challenge of doing a massive production of 29 characters on an adventure... with the current climate being the way it is, this play is a poignant reminder of how hate can drive communities apart and the only way forward is through unity, respect and understanding!”
