As one half of the acclaimed Trip-Hop and Electronica duo, Badmarsh & Shri, DJ Badmarsh has been there and done that as far is production is concerned. His experience incorporates his Middle Eastern background (he was born in Yemen) and participation in a distinct music culture that has developed among England's Asian and Middle Eastern emigres. His music can be described as dark break-beats laced with sitars, tablas and experimental ambient beats. He is gonna rock the house at Club 43 on Saturday 23rd August, ladies make sure you arrive early as it's free for you until 11.30, celebrating the launch of Kimono, the new House music residency at Brixton's Club 43.
