We are delighted to present Malcolm Garrett as our Campfire speaker on the 16th October.

Malcolm is one of Britain’s best-known graphic designers, noted for his leading work in the arts and in interaction design. Hi has worked for music artists such as Simple Minds, Magazine, Duran Duran, Peter Gabriel and Buzzcocks, including the iconic cover for the their 1977 single Orgasm Addict.

He has served on numerous committees including BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Committee and FontShop Type Board in Berlin. He currently sits on the RDI Executive Committee, Eye Magazine Editorial Board and the London Science Museum Advisory Board.

He was creative director of Dynamo, an online showcase and forum for the interactive media industry, and of the i-Design interactive media conference held at the London Design Festival. Malcolm continues making his mark as Creative Director of IMAGES&Co, designing identities and graphic interfaces for corporate leading companies, cultural and media institutions worldwide. As key figure on contemporary UK pop culture Malcolm will be sharing with us how his work helped to establish and promote a new design-driven culture, which has defined today's media market.

As Garret says: There is no substitute for knowing everything. There is always something to do, something to see, more to find out.

Taking tribal art, folklore myths and skulls as inspiration, the ditto doors gallery will display a fantastic exhibition by British graphic designer Toby Haynes. Toby has been sharing his talent at ditto for the last three years working as Senior graphic designer.

He has exhibited in a wide range of exhibitions in the UK and abroad most recently with Collaboration Nation at the UPFEST gallery in Bristol and Inkygoodness with their ‘Beermat Characters’ exhibition at The Coningsby Gallery in London.

Join us for a celebration of innovation and creativity on Thursday 16th October at 7pm.
