An intoxicating mix of country, Americana, rockabilly and punk served up by Baskery, three sisters from Sweden.

"Little Wild Fire is loaded with trenchant vitality" - 4/5 stars, Gareth Hayes, R2

"A jewel of an album, it grows and grows with each listen as the voices and the arrangements bury themselves as ear worms. " - Keith Hargreaves, Americana UK

Support comes from The Severed Limb with their bass slapping, washboard scrapping and accordion pumping mix of skiffle, folk, zydeco and rock and roll. Their music has been championed by Mark Radcliffe, Steve Lamacq and Dave Gorman amongst others.

‘Storming!' The Independent.

"Rampant and joyful ... an infectious mix of rock and roll styles playfully twisted for 2013" - Steve Lamacq

BASKERY
Baskery are three sisters from Sweden, the sound is all about turning music on its head, blending the straight forwardness of punk with the subtlety of roots and American.

Baskery will be touring their latest release "LITTLE WILD LIFE" in the UK in the Autumn of 2014.

No matter where they go in the world, people tell the sisters that they've never heard or seen anything like it, that they have a completely unique sound and perform with what seems to be an inexhaustible energy. That's Baskery's aim, to never stop surprising. Baskery is a band built on what three people can do together. The music is not to be confused with country or bluegrass just because they play a double bass, a six string banjo and acoustic guitar.

The three sisters can't recall when or why they started playing, the music's always just been there. "Performing live has become the most natural thing to us". That's where the high energy level on stage hails from, a pure and reckless love to the art of performing music.

"Frenetically energetic…a distinctively individual band sound primed to hone in on the mainstream" - MOJO (Colin Irwin)
