Live Music Featuring Chalk Plus More

'SMITHS', Spitalfields, is located on the outskirts of the iconic Old Spitalfields Market and on Friday 9th January will play host to some of the best live bands in London. Hosted by HOT VOX, this free entry Friday night event is the place to be to discover excellent new bands in rock 'n' roll chic surroundings.

Topping the bill is Chalk. Likened to James Blake, Alt-J and SBTRKT, CHALK brings a decisively fresh approach to the DJ and Electronica scene, encorporating looping, synth effects and vocal processing in their set along with highly singable hooks and choruses.

Support comes from Shak and the Banned, a London-based band that delivers songs of depth and insight with a powerful voice that maintains a fierce presence amid dynamic rock grooves and infectious soulful melodies.

Also on the line up are Red Rose Empire, Afnan Prince and Matt Allinson.

So sip on a cocktail in the bar overlooking the Shoreditch streets or make your way to the stunning basement bar to listen to the hottest new bands around.
