National Microchipping Month

From the success of National Microchipping Month 2004, the Kennel Club our exited to announce that the third National Microchipping Month will be held this year in June.

The campaign will be run throughout the United Kingdom to encourage and promote responsible pet ownership through microchipping as the preferred method of permanent identification.

This significant campaign hopes to ensure customers are aware of the importance of microchipping their pets. In the event that their pet should go missing, microchipping creates a greater chance of reunification when the pet is found. The Kennel Club feels that it is also an ideal time to highlight that keeping details up to date on the Petlog's national database is essential for reunification.

We are encouraging you, as pet owners to get your much loved pets microchipped and therefore, aiding a fast and effective reunification if they are lost.
