DJ Sam Young Hosts The Horse And Wagon Booth

Hot on the spurs of their recent launch, Beaver Lodge night club in Chelsea has already lassoed the attention of the musical Wild West, from local musician James Blunt (who attended the launch) to center stage golden girl, Denise Van Outen, and now, celebrity DJ, most recently famed for playing at George Clooney’s wedding, Sam Young.

Yeehaa-s, that’s right, this Saturday 17th January, for one night only, DJ Sam Young will be saying Howdy to Chelsea, and playing a special set in the clubs infamous horse and wagon DJ booth. Rootin’ tootin’ those turn tables, Sam will also be accompanied by The Cowgirl Line Dance show, ensuring that there is no ‘moose’ing around, and that all of the Daisy Dukes and Huckleberrys from behind the bar, join in for the law-enforced hourly Beaver Lodge hoedown dance.

Sam was the first person to be awarded the 'Best DJ' award twice at the London club and bar awards in 2007 & 2010. Since then Sam has played Royal Weddings (Freddie Windsor) to rock superstar's birthday bashes (Elton John) and Film Premieres (Sex and the City and The Golden Compass). He has also hosted many exclusive parties for the likes of Gucci, Damien Hirst, Laureus World Sports awards, BAFTA, The Brit Awards, Kings of Leon, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, 50 Cent, Naomi Campbell and more.

Sam more recently played the Olympics 2012 closing party for Team USA alongside Swizz Beats and Nas. The party was hosted by Tao Las Vegas and Beats By Dre. And he just returned from DJing the opening of Boujis Hong Kong.

Beaver Lodge is cabin bar and dance saloon based on the winter cowboy log cabins found in places such as Jackson Hole in America. This is the 7th project from Charlie Gilkes and Duncan Stirling, founders of The Inception Group, who existing venues are loved for their innovative and entertaining themes. Beaver Lodge will giddy up guests, taking them away on a galloping adventure up the snowy mountains of Wyoming and beyond.

The Inception Group also own and operate Chelsea speakeasy Barts, 80s themed nightclub, Maggie’s, the acclaimed Bunga Bunga, an Englishman’s Italian, Bar, Pizzeria and Karaoke venue in Battersea, and Mr Fogg’s, a Mayfair based bar modeled on the actual home of Jules Verne’s most famous adventurer, Phileas Fogg. Last summer they also launched Cocobananas, which takes its inspiration from a Brazilian Beach party.
