The English Arts Chorale is delighted to return to Queen Elizabeth Hall with a programme that includes three of the best loved works in the classical repertoire.
The first half of the programme features two concertos, Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto played by one of this country's leading trumpeters Crispian Steele-Perkins, and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto played by the young Japanese virtuoso Anna Hashimoto, who according to ICA Magazine is “destined for a major career” with her “beautiful tone and musicianship, as well as remarkable technical ease”.
After the interval, the English Arts Chorale will perform Mozart’s Requiem, one of the greatest works of the chorale repertoire, entirely from memory. Joined by soloists Fiona Campbell (soprano), Jane Haughton (mezzo), Ben Thapa (tenor) and Njabulo Madlala (baritone) this promises to be a very special performance.
