Evelina De Lain Trio at Lauderdale House, Highgate Hill

Evelina De Lain Trio is known for its unique blend of classical, jazz and contemporary music. With undeniable talent and virtuosity they take on Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances" alongside Cole Porter's songs and continue to pleasantly surprise the audience with their choice of program and skillful arrangements.

This will be their best and biggest concert to date. Alisa Klimanska is featured on flute and formidable Alice Jones is on cello.

And a great surprise of the evening - the incredible and rare talent, australian performer Tara Minton will do her own set on Harp and Vocals with her programme of jazz, falk and her original songs that are truly unique.

And it's all happening in a fabulous location - 16th century country house built on the grounds of a lovely Waterlow park. The doors will open at 6.30 - to come in and have a drink, or you can come even earlier just to relax in the park near the pond.

Old hits will be on the setlist along with new arrangements that will include everyone's favourite Theme to "Onedin Line" ("Adagio" from Spartacus), the soundtrack to "Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence" (Sakamoto), "Elvira Madigan" soundtrack (Mozart, Piano concerto 21) and many more. There will be very reasonably priced drinks at the venue but the VIP ticket will also include a glass of champagne and reserved great seat. This day will offer an opportunity to relax, unwind, get excited and enjoy life.
