A London literary night with a difference; a salon without the seriousness.

Every month, four authors read from their work. But writers are exciting because they write, right? So that's exactly what we get them to do. In teams, they'll create short stories on-the-spot on a theme chosen by the audience. Past themes have included 'bungalows', 'small lizards' and 'an inexplicable coincidence on Chiswick High Road'.

Throw in a vat of delicious cocktails and a fairly ridiculous playlist of 1920s jazz and 1990s hiphop, plus books to buy and cake to eat...
