Join our expert panel at Discovering Places as they reveal their insider knowledge of Albania, one of Europe’s best kept secrets.

With rugged alpine terrain, the buzzing metropolis of Tirana and ancient ruins, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Albania offers travellers an array of unique attractions. The country is also one of Europe’s best destinations for mountain biking, hiking and kayaking. And with over 300km of coastline, Albania has some of the few remaining secluded beaches in Europe.

This informative evening for first-time travellers to Albania will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions of our expert panel, including Professor James Pettifer from Oxford University, and Gillian Gloyer, author of Bradt’s Albania travel guide, whilst networking over a glass of wine.
