This weekend: Free launch of London’s largest indoor skate park and climbing wall

Grab your skateboard, jump on your BMX and don your hard hat for the launch of London’s largest indoor skate park and climbing wall this weekend.

The free event, at Mayesbrook Park in Dagenham on Saturday 6th June and Sunday 7th June, will showcase the state-of-the-art 900-square-metre skate park and amazing climbing wall with a host of cool events.

Highlights include:

AmJam and Skate Jam competitions - open to amater boarders and BMXers. Just turn up and take part
Tackle the new climbing wall with a host of fun games like Race to the top - see if you can beat your mates!
Live music
DJs
Film screening
Evening socials

Events cater for beginners and intermediates and there will be activities for under- and over-16s.

The extreme sports facility is operated by social enterprise GLL, under its Better brand.
