The Beating Retreat and dinner package

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo and the defeat of Napoleon, Villandry St James’s have teamed up with The Household Division to offer the best available seat for Beating Retreat and dinner package for £45.

Programme for the evening

Dinner at Villandry St James’s – Two courses & a glass of Sommelier’s recommended wine.

Arrive at Villandry St James’s at around 5.30pm/6.00pm and enjoy a glass of wine (red or white) on arrival. You will then enjoy 2 courses of the following menu:

Soup of the day
Severn & Wye smoked salmon and lemon
Roquefort and endive salad with pear and pecan nuts v

Green harissa marinated chicken with pomme purée, mushrooms & jus
Confit de canard with braised red cabbage & green beans
Sea bass and crushed new potatoes with salsa verde
Vegetarian option available on request

At 7.30pm/7.45pm diners will walk the short distance to the Horse Guards Parade. Beating Retreat will begin at 8.00pm.
