Step into a 1947 radio studio and join 4 actors and 1 Foley artist - The Misfits of London - as they broadcast two episodes of the Gin Chronicles. WWII is over but in this time of austerity The Misfits bring a lively comedy to the airwaves with with two detective thrillers.

John Jobling, a member of the idle rich, discoveres that having a housemaid, Doris, has its uses when he decides to enter a life of amateur detection. When news arrives that the owner of Captain Botanicals, London's finest gin, has disappeared, he and Doris embark on two new adventures which take them across the city and out onto the high seas, throwing up mystery, mischief and a raft of entertaining characters.

But not all the Misfits are working harmoniously, one has a penchant for sampling the gin and the Foley artist can't always remember which object makes which sound. Can they broadcast a slick professional episode leaving the audience at home none the wiser? Find out in this fast paced period comedy that combines a twist of with a large dash of satire.
