Shorts Up

Montly short film night Shorts Up is back on Thursday the 25th of June for another month of short films, documentaries and music videos with a special performance from drummer Hovig Yardim who will be playing live along to a film from spoken word artist Zia Ahmed for an immersive cinema experience.

This months line up also includes films from award winning filmmaker Steve Ramsden who has screened films at the event before and sci-fi film State Zero directed by Andree Wallin as well as films from local filmmakers Oliwia Siem, Martin Stirling and David Cohen. A number of unannounced films will also be screening for 90 minutes of upcoming and established work from local filmmakers.

The event is a part of Above the Arts Theatres week of programming which includes stand-up comedy from Amused Moose who has had artists such as Noel Fielding perform at the venue, scratch night A Foot in the Door and New Musical Night which launched successfully last month.
