We are a photographic and visual art collaboration group interested in raising awareness to the global issue of food waste.

Over the past few weeks we have been collecting food waste, and using the produce to create visual and photographic imagery.
We deal with alternative photographic processes including cyanotypes, lumen prints, anthotypes and photograms. We want to educate viewers to the problem, raise awareness and encourage them to change their habits and perceptions.

On the evening of Friday 19th June we are holding an anti- food waste art event called Fit for Consumption at Save The Date Café, Dalston.
The work will be installed around the café and we will be using intercepted food destined for landfill to create tasty meals for everyone.

The work will be available for purchase, profits made will go to Save The Date Cafe, to help them expand and open more Cafés.

By encouraging people to eat the food as well as view the art work, we hope to have a larger impact in changing perceptions of what ‘waste’ food actually looks and tastes like!

So come along and party with us.
