The History of the Kitchen Garden

Join Andrew Newman from the Forty Hill and Bulls Cross Study Group as he explores the heyday of the walled kitchen garden and looks at how Forty Hall's own garden evolved alongside the national trend in this illustrated talk. Programmed in partnership with the exhibition 'The Victorian Kitchen Garden: an exhibition by Enfield and District Embroiderers Guild' - members of the group were inspired to produce the exhibition following this very talk.
