Did you know that super glue was originally invented to make Sniper Rifles, then to make air plane canopies, then as a medical aid in the Vietnam war and finally as a household glue! Sometimes things are useful in ways you wouldn't expect. Sometimes your solution is amazing, but not at the thing you originally built it for.

Techbank are big fans of this sort of thing, they sell Techbricks, which are blocks of software that can be put together to solve problems for a wide range of clients. By seeing the second and third uses of an existing solution they can keep prices low and find sale opportunities that may otherwise have been missed.

One of Techbank's directors, Chris Jones, has generously agreed to come and speak at this event, to let you know a little more about their company, tell some stories about second uses of everything from condoms to coca-cola and to give out some tips on how to spot that hidden use for your existing code. And all inside a 10 minute talk.
