Presented by Escape Studios, part of Pearson College London, The VFX Festival 2016, is pleased to announce the first line-up of headliners for the event, which will run from February 23rd - 25th 2016 at London's iconic O2. This year, for the first time, the festival will bring to London the best in VFX, games, animation and motion graphics to industry professionals and anyone considering a career in the arts.

As per previous years, The VFX Festival will consist of a number of film screenings, panel discussions and keynote lectures from talent across the British film industry. The Mill will host day one of the festival, presenting on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and discussing the Google ATAP Project, with Hamilton & Kidd providing a supporting feature presentation on Virtual Reality and 360 technologies.

The festival’s second day, focused on convergence, will feature MPC who will be speaking about their work on 20th Century Fox., action adventure picture The Martian. Further presentations will come from Rushes who will be discussing the amazing Motion Graphics featured in the new James Bond film Spectre. World winning animation studio Aardman will also be in attendance talking about all things animation. Lastly, Climax Studios will be representing the world of gaming talking about their contribution to the very successful games series, Assassin's Creed Chronicles.

The third day at the festival, focused on recruiting the next generation of filmmakers, gamers and animators, will feature career and recruitment talks by some of the leading studios in town and around the world.
