Jazz at Chickenshed: Mark Crooks play Johnny Mandel

The gifted, award-winning saxophone and clarinet player Mark Crooks will be performing the wonderful music of song-writing legend Johnny Mandel. Grammy, Oscar and Emmy-award winning Mandel is one of the few writers capable of writing standards that can be recorded and performed by a wide variety of jazz musicians and singers.

Accompanying Mark is Colin Oxley on guitar, Gabriel Latchin on piano, Julian Bury on bass and Mike Smith on drums as they play polished and inventive jazz arrangements of Mandel’s well-known pieces.
