Live at Trinity Laban

Join children and young people from across Lewisham at Laban Theatre for this highlight event of the annual Lewisham Live festival. The evening includes performances from local schools and community groups from across the borough.

Also featured is the world premiere of a music and dance performance piece co-created by young artists from Trinity Laban’s Youth Dance Company and Animate Orchestra’s senior ensemble, Animate Artists.

The final piece, collaboratively devised across 5 months, focuses
on ‘beginnings’ and includes an exploration of new music and movement technology. Young people have been supported throughout the project by music and dance specialists, Sarah Freestone and Chloe Stone.
